17-Dec-09 Caragele Gas Treatment Station - ROMGAZ
Romgaz has established new gas stations in different places of the country. The new gas deposits in the area Caragele led to construction of new stations for extraction and gas treatment. One of this gas stations, newly built, is located near Faurei city and treats natural gas from 3 wells. Inspet was the general contractor and Syscom was subcontractor for process control system. Instrumentation, valves, PLC based control system and fiscal metering station have been supplied and commissioned. For fire extinguishing and prevention Syscom has supplied gas and smoke detectors, panic buttons, all monitored by 2 detection centrals. The fiscal metereing station is located 14 km far from the gas treatment station, at the Transgaz connection and consists in a dual measurement skid with ultrasonic flow meter and turbine. The monitoring of the fiscal measurement station is made by transmitting data through optical fiber to the Well group. The software used for the operating stations is Excelerate for fiscal measurement, and Citect for developing programs at Wells group. The Web server option for fiscal measurement station allows real time data and daily report to be viewed.
